A good life is filled with memories and stories. New England Good Life offers an array of unique products that provide the foundation and inspiration to create more of them in your day-to-day life.
Products at New England Good Life use wood rescued from Cape Cod and New England: mid-1800's boards from a sea captain's home or a beadboard door, late-1800's barn wood, early-1900's quartersawn fir flooring, beach fencing found from walks along the shoreline, old cranberry crates, and anything else that's interesting and worth saving. The wood is repaired while keeping its character intact and converted to coastal art - most of it functional, so that you interact with it to better appreciate it and use it as a foundation for moments and memories: serving trays, cheese boards, coat and key hangers, cribbage boards, and coasters; plus one-off items and new experiments. |
No two items are the same, because each piece of wood is unique and the artwork is done by hand. This makes for unique gifts or accents for your own home while breathing new life into a small piece of history that was on the verge of being lost to time.

I will love and enjoy this for years to come! You are a treasure of a find! That wood would have gone into the dump heap if it weren't for your talents!!"

I just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE it! He's going to love it. You pulled the random thoughts I had and turned it into something so cool! The reclaimed wood absolutely makes the whole piece. It's perfect. It will match the house so well!" |
Read the Edible Cape Cod article on New England Good Life!
It's with great appreciation that Edible Cape Cod published a recent article on New England Good Life. Read Edible Cape Cod's fantastic article for more information. They also have great information on all sorts of local restaurants, vendors, and so on. Their print version is in a number of stores around Cape Cod as well, so grab one when you run across it. Shout-out to the local companies that were sourced for the great spread that was captured in this photo: Lighthouse Keeper's Pantry, Peterson's Market, Pain D'Avignon, Chequessett Chocolate, Chatham Fish & Lobster, and Cape Cod Potato Chips... definitely worth a try! |
